The choir at Our Lady Queen of Peace is always welcoming new singers and instrumentalists. Vacationers and seasonal members are encouraged to participate as well. Informal rehearsals are held after Mass on most Sunday mornings, year-round.

St. Charles Borromeo Church, Brunswick - Sheila Murphy, Church Music Director, director of the Praise Band and co-director of Teen Band, a music ministry for students grades 6-12.The St. Charles Praise Band rehearses Thursday nights 7pm, serving through multiple genres from chant to gospel at 10:30am Mass with 9:30 warmup. Choir sings at the 11AM Mass on Sundays. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 6:00pm-8:00pm and 10:15 am on Sundays.
The choir sings choral music and Gregorian chant, and spends a good amount of time in rehearsal learning how to sing better, learning how to read music, and working on other musical skills. Always happy to welcome new choristers who are eager to learn and lend their musical gifts to the sacred liturgy!
